Even with CarPlay, the data showing on the 2 screens & the HUD are better when using the internal system than with others on my phone.
And yes the traffic along my route was fairly accurate.
One point you made which I do agree with is all navigation apps & or navigation systems occasionally take you in some weird routes.

I only object to the fact that the BMW navigation map updates will cost money after the first 4 years.
