Does anyone else with a mild hybrid X1 find the brake pedal feel somewhat inconsistent? I prefer keen brakes and during recuperation/regeneration the brakes feel strong enough but at lower speeds the brake pedal travel is long/soft and braking effectiveness feels somewhat inadequate. At the moment I find the brakes hard to modulate at low speeds, they have a very binary (on/off) feel to them.

I understand that blending hydraulic braking with drivetrain braking is difficult to do and I get the feeling that BMW have toned down the hydraulic braking so that drivers don't brake too sharply when the ISG is recuperating the battery.
