The only possible solution I can think of is if you have the unlock on approach feature toggled on and you bring your key with you when you go to get something out of the car. maybe this "problem" will go away for me in a week or two.
I've been going into the garage at random times to admire my beautiful new X1. I open the door and get int... then the stereo comes on. at 4am two nights ago, I woke up to go to the bathroom and then found myself wondering into the garage. Turned on all the lights and just stared at it... then I got sleep so somehow I opened the door and sat in the driver's seat. Then the stereo started playing some random crappy song on SiriusXM. the music was so annoying, I got out of the car and went back to bed upstairs.
surely I won't be doing that after the newness wears off sooner or later.
