Reinstalling the active radiator flaps on a BMW 645 is a relatively straightforward process that can be done at home with basic tools and mechanical knowledge. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to do it:

Tools and Materials:

Torx T25 screwdriver
Flathead screwdriver
Socket set
Ratchet
Allen wrench
New active radiator flaps
Wire cutters or snips
Electrical tape
Instructions:

Remove the front bumper:

Start by disconnecting the negative battery terminal to prevent any electrical shorts.
Open the hood and locate the front bumper fasteners. There are a total of 10 fasteners, five on each side, and two at the bottom.
Use a Torx T25 screwdriver to loosen and remove the fasteners.
Carefully lift the front bumper to disengage it from the retaining clips.
Set the front bumper aside.
Access the radiator flap mechanism:

Remove the headlights and indicators if they are still attached.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the radiator flap motor.
Locate the two bolts that secure the radiator flap mechanism to the radiator support.
Use a socket set and ratchet to loosen and remove the bolts.
Install the new radiator flaps:

Carefully detach the old radiator flaps from the mechanism.
Align the new radiator flaps with the mechanism and secure them using the two bolts.
Reconnect the electrical connector to the radiator flap motor.
Reinstall the front bumper:

Carefully align the front bumper with the mounting points on the car.
Reinstall the fasteners using the Torx T25 screwdriver.
Ensure that the front bumper is properly secured and flush with the car's body.
Reconnect the battery:

Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
Start the car and check that the radiator flaps are functioning properly.
