Yes, because as we have seen time and again what seems like a common sense approach by government gets abused by government.
I want less monitoring of my private life, I don't trust government to only use something like this for its intended purpose.
In Canada during covid the government used the tracking of cell phones to monitor the movements of 33 million Canadians, the vast majority of whom are not criminals.
