there's a 3rd option, but only for those who have experience with vinyl wrapping...(or have an installer do it... in my area, it costs around $200 for the X1 grille only) the good thing is that it's reversible.
my co-worker had his '21 X7 grill wrapped in black and it still looks pretty good after 2 years.
