I don’t know if weather affects it, but in slippery conditions I can feel the AWD engaging. In personal mode the laggy throttle can be unpredictable, sometimes creeping forward waiting to make a left turn it can lag at the worst moment, other times it’s just a 1/4 second delay. Sometimes it will lag just as I’m coming to a stop and need to accelerate again. In Sport mode this all goes away. I’ve gotten in the habit of flipping the gear selector into S when I anticipate a situation where I need there to be no lag, and then flipping it back to D afterwards.
