study hard! I did that months before my X1 arrived last April.
I even had the whole 380 pages of X1 PDF manual printed and bounded at Staple's.(because I had a bunch of unused gift cards) at 8.5x11, it was much easier to read than the tiny paper manual included in the glove box. (yes, senior citizen problem)
