BMW Free Ultimate Care Maintenance Program
I’m a little puzzled about what exactly is supposed to be covered on a yearly basis for the 1st 3 years. Just brought my 24 x1 28i into BMW which has just 4900 miles after 1 year. I expected the following to be replaced but I was informed that because of the low mileage these would be done every other year, NOT YEARLY
1. Cabin micro filter 2. Engine air filter 3. Wiper blade (3) replacement 4. Key FOB batteries (but they did replace them when I pushed back) I’m interest to hear for others in the USA.. Is this what you also encountered or did I get misinformation & the run around from my dealer? Sorry if there is an existing thread about this but my app search stopped working months ago when there was an update. Last edited by markronnie; 12-24-2024 at 12:07 PM.. |

Wiper blades were eliminated from included maintenance when they dropped from 4/50 to 3/36 in 2017. Never heard about the key fob batteries.

Like tex said, wiper blades are no longer covered. My key fob batteries were replaced by the dealer at my last service without me asking, I only found out because it was listed on the invoice when I picked it up. They also topped off my wiper fluid and did a quick detail of my car.

Both wipers and the fob battery were changed out for me in a visit about a month ago.
With that said, they cheaped out and sent me away with supposedly 3,000 miles left on the front pads which didn't last 1,500. I had to have a loaner over Christmas because FedEx was slow. You get what you pay for... |
