For Sale: 1997 M3 Sedan 5 Speed CosmosSchwarz M3/4/5
224k miles but motor runs exceptionally strong and smooth with zero issues. Valve cover and oil pan is bone dry. This is why I purchased this particular car - the engine operation, sound, and feel was spot on.
Every electronic, switch, light, and button works and functions OBC works and has no dead pixels Sunroof works but needs new lifters and the cassette/chain serviced. AC works and blows cold Heat works as well Cruise control functions properly Head unit has Bluetooth with Spotify or pandora connectivity Originally a luxury package but slatted grill replaced for mesh grill. Sport seats replaced with OE vaders and I think a few interior trim pieces. Has original fold down rear seats. Comes with original spare tire and style 23 wheel. Cosmosschwarz metallic paint Registered till Dec 2025 Smog can be arranged for new owner Clean title in hand All body part vins match No rust Car came with the following parts when I purchased: New Toyo Proxes sport 235/40/18 0724 date code TC Kline coilovers and camber/caster plates ECS tuning strut bar New OEM clutch Flywheel resurfaced New water pump New thermostat New radiator Depo euro tail lights (removed for stocks) Depo glass headlights Rogue engineering rear strut tower reinforcements Turner RTAB limiters BMW Motorsport X brace OE M3 Coupe manual Vader seats Bavsound speakers Kenwood single din with bluetooth OE Heckspoiler (non functioning) Items fixed and replaced under my ownership (Have date and mile stamps when all service was done) Oil change w shell Rotella 5W40 OE BMW oil filter NGK iridium plugs 3199 Mann air intake filter Mann cabin air filter Rain X wiper blades Hella & walker O2 sensors PowerFlex centered FCAB bushing OEM VDO fuel tank sending unit OE fuel pump cover gasket OEM fuel level seal OEM BMW Gas cap seal OE Fuel hose clamp Zimmerman front and rear blank rotors Jurid front pads OE BMW rear pads OEM retaining clips OEM wear sensors, brakes have roughly 1000 miles on them and bedded properly. DidnĀ’t like it as much as I thought I would. But for a 28 year old car, its runs and handles great. This is easily a clean and solid example of an E36 M3 that can be daily driven. Will trade outright for: 2016 X5 with M sport package E90 M3 6 speed similar miles / value Sell for $16000 obo Located in Santa Clarita, CA Car was not washed in these photos. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by jeremyuhh; 04-12-2025 at 03:13 PM.. |

Thank you. I agree, high miles usually means the motor was taken care of, other wise it wouldnt have made it that far with the exclusion of certain circumstances.
