iPhone 4 or iPhone 3GS

I am due an upgrade and want a phone that will be completely compatible with the new Z4 and I would prefer one that I can use via the cradle in the armrest. I would also prefer a single phone/MP3 player combo. A few questions:

- Is there a cradle for the iPhone4 yet?
- Will 3GS/4 be completely compatible with ComBox? (phone list transfers to idrive, voice messaging etc)
- If not, is there an optimal phone for use with all the gadgets in the car?

My iphone 4 works very well in my car and transfers contacts no problem - however doesn't transfer text messages to it like my previous sony ericcson did
