Windshield sun screen for 2025 BMW X1?
I have ordered and found to not fit at least 3 screens for my 2025 X1. They were all to small, some by as much as 6 inches!
I prefer the wire-rimmed ones where you can twist-fold into a circular shape. Has anyone found one that works? Doug |

On another note, I honestly can’t even remember the last time I had one of the twist-fold shades you are talking about (but I remember them well). My last 4 cars have all had the rigid folding ones. They do take up more space, but I seem to get hit in the face less frequently when opening them. 😂 |

I bought this one last year off Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...e?ie=UTF8&th=1
I assume this is available in the US? Silver side goes up against screen to reflect heat and light and black side faces inside car. Really good fit and even has a small velcro strap to fit around the rear-view mirror. Does a decent job of keeping the worse of the heat off the inside of car. I would buy again if I lost this. |

Mine isn't a twist and fold one, it's an accordion style one, but it works pretty well. It's the OEM previous generation X1 sun shade and the fit is pretty close, but not perfect. Works well enough for keeping the car interior cool and only has a slight gap on the top corners of the windshield.

I just had my 2024 X1 front windscreen treated with film that blocks 99% of the heat that is brought on by the sun. It doesnt affect the HUD, warranty etc. and blocks UV and all the other harmful rays. i've had thise sun protectors before and twice they built up so much heat that the rearview mirror popped off.

I have one that goes over the windshield. Nice and thin. I usually don't park at super windy areas, so am not worried about potential scratches outside of A-pillar. Those work the best for me

There must be a difference in the 2023 and my 2025 X1 windshields. I can find plenty of screens for 2023 and prior years, but nothing that fits for my X1. It is getting frustrating. I ordered this from Amazon with the hope I can make it work.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...0?ie=UTF8&th=1 According to Amazon it will fit my car (57 inch wide one). It's cheap so I am not expecting much, but then I only have to use it a couple of weeks per year. Doug |

I tried to get a OEM shade for my X2 only to learn that they don’t actually make one, so the parts guy suggested checking the Covercraft website as they do vehicle specific shades. I received mine earlier this week, and it seems to fit well. It’s one of the stiff ones that folds (similar to the Subaru OEM shades I had for my previous cars).

I have this from amazon. Of course, I am in Europe and I had to pay $30 for transport but it's awesome! It fits perfect and it can be folded resulting in a 10-12" diameter. |
