H&R introduces a set of lowering springs and wheel spacers for the current X1
Lowering is approx. 40-45 mm front and rear depending on the engines for non-M-Sport vehicles. Vehicles with M-suspension lower 15 mm less. https://www.h-r.com/en/vorher-nachhe...w-x1-type-u1x/ |

I'm a bit like that, plus it doesn't look much lower anyway really.
If I wanted a dropped SUV I'd get a 3 series touring instead, job done that also handles a lot better than an SUV with a higher centre of gravity, but each to their own. I know in some markets that option isn't available mind for some. |

my thoughts exactly...
since today is my weekly "tell it like it is" day, I'm just going to, well, tell it like it is... ![]() H&R didn't make those lowering springs low enough. Other than the X1's owner who installed it, I'm guessing that nobody else will notice the lower height. Drop another 1 or 2 inches... but like someone else already mentions, then might as well get a proper BMW 3-series Touring.(station wagon for us Americans) ![]() end of rant for now. ![]() |

That's a lot of money in that build right there. I'd actually love an E91 M3 Touring, but the newest M3 Touring has me drooling as well!

Your profile says USA, but the U12 (the long wheelbase X1) isn’t sold in the US. Do you mean the U11?

The U10 and the U11 m35i variants both share the same p/n for H&R lowering springs. 28635-8. https://www.h-r.com/en/vorher-nachhe...rive-type-u10/ https://www.h-r.com/en/vorher-nachhe...rive-type-u11/ |

yes i am talking spring compatibility between the X1 U11 and U12
I don’t have access to a recent ETK to double-check the OEM numbers (RealOEM doesn’t list spring refs for the X1—and tons of other models—since BMW catalogs them differently). A lot of suspension parts actually share the same OEM numbers across U11 and U12... and it looks like the only real difference for the X1’s H&R springs is whether it’s FWD or 4WD if I’m not mistaken |

The H&R spring ref 28635-6 seems to be the most plausible match...
but nothing has been confirmed https://www.h-r.com/en/vorher-nachhe...w-x1-type-u1x/ |
