Snowboarding at Big White in Kelowna, BC, Canada with pics

So me and a buddy flew out to Kelowna in BC to do some boarding at Big White. The mountain is huge, it took us 3 days to hit every side of the mountain and we still didnt board every run. The snow was ridiculous, there was a foot of fresh powder on every run on our first day, and it was snowing the entire time we were there.

We ended up getting stuck in some valley when we went into this avalanche zone. There was easilly 3-4 feet of heavy powder. It probably took us 45 min to walk out to the lift.

All in all it was a awesome time and anyone into boarding would love it there.

Heres the pics.
I am in the black, my buddy the blue/white

checking out the view from the summit.. and all that fresh untouched powder!

this is were we got stuck in a huge flat spot after riding some crazy cliffs.
my buddy is at the bottom in the middle of this huge lake. he is the black speck in the middle of nowhere. the lift is near the top center.

some pics of us killing some jumps

Looks like a blast! Wish I had more time this year to hit the slopes...

Keystone, CO. The chair lifts only go up to the tree line. From there you can hike or pay snow cats to drive you up to the peak.

Those pictures were taken just to the left of "<> South Bowl" in the top right of this trail map:

If you do come to the states, there are a lot of great places in NV, CA, CO, etc. I'm sure a lot of people around here would have great recommendations on where to go

Out of all the resorts we've been to in CO, Vail was absolutely the best. I would recommend to everyone who boards and/or skis.

I'm jealous. Nice pics.

I went out today for a little bit. I ate it so hard 3 times. Today was not a day for me to snowboard, that's for sure.
