I've noticed that BMW cars nowadays don't have that "OFF" button for the aircon and you have to press the lowest setting of the fan in order for it to turn off.

is it advisable to just turn off the engine with the aircon not shutdown fully?

I always turn off the aircon when I shut down the engine.

ahm... yes it does, there's a button with a little snowflake, pressing it shuts down the aircon. The fan will continue running, sure. But why on earth shut down aircon when turning off ignition in any case? In MY BMW, these two are combined...

just being curious friend as am not used to not shutting down the aircon before shutting down the engine. I think its already been a habbit so is it safe to say that with BMW's, I can just simple leave as it is, put it at Auto (as I usually do) then before you shut down the engine, no need to turn off the aircon?

sorry for my ignorance but like I said earlier, just curious, that's all.
