Coding Fuel Reserve
Just thought I'd share a finding after scouring the internet trying to see if it's possible to change the fuel reserve warning notification. I find it comes on WAAAY too early. I primarily drive in the city and don't need 75+ km worth of notification.
I found the following 2 codes: KOMBI -> 3000 -> CC_RW_WARNUNG_2 KOMBI -> 3000 -> CC_RW_WARNUNG CC_RW_WARNUNG_2 is the first warning and has a default value of "50_mls" CC_RW_WARNUNG is the second permanent warning and has a default of "30_mls" I had 52km left of fuel and changed CC_RW_WARNUNG_2 to "inactiv" and there was no warning when I restarted the car!!! I haven't tested editing the values directly. I did read the values are hexadecimal values in KM, so if you want the second warning to come on at 30km, you would enter a value of 1E. |
