He usually posts multiple times a day here in the Off-Topic Discussions Board and he hasn't logged on since March 25. On that day it showed that he was banned though I think that was a mistake since the word banned under his name is gone now. I PM'd him a couple of times but have not gotten a response. He has some health problems and it's got me a little concerned.

Does he normally tell O.T. when he goes there? Just seems weird, especially the part where he was "banned" for a short time, and now he's gone.

I don't know. I'm just guessing. He's on another non-car forum with the same username, but my age addled brain can't remember which one.

I hope he is OK. I doubt he is traveling. If I remember correctly, his wife recently changed jobs and can't take time off for a year. He can't travel alone.

Unfortunately, he is a very private guy. Although we messaged back and forth, he never shared his name or cell with me.

Yeah, something doesn't add up. I`m starting to think that Esteban is right, and vreihen16 got banned. For what, I don`t know. It makes no sense . He was a big plus to the forum when it came to identifying bots.

Don't think he was banned because I was able to PM him. Unless he was just banned from Off-Topic, and if that's the case why doesn't he respond to my PMs. I've PM'd other members who were just banned from OT and they were able to respond to me. And yes, a big plus who will surely be missed.

I don't think he was banned because I am pretty sure I remember seeing "Banned" under his name a while ago. Hopefully he is ok and just taking a break from the rest of us.

It was brought to my attention that he got a permaban (ban for life).

I overruled the decision by immediately bringing him back from the dead (lifting the ban). Rare, but a risk I was prepared to take for a worthy cause.

He's been MIA for over a week now.

Thank you. I wonder if he knows the ban was lifted. I can’t imagine what he did to warrant a ban. He was always helpful and went out of his way to keep people in line and away from getting political. I’m not looking for an answer as you probably can’t share. Just giving my 2 cents.

This might be the case. He may not know the ban is lifted and has not come back to check because he assumes it’s permanent.

So there is a chance that my PM also features inside his mailbox outside BP (e-mail address linked to his BP account) and not only features inside his BP PM mailbox.

I strictly respect his privacy and only communicate private messages with BP PM. Same counts for all of you.

I tried to send him a PM when it still said banned under his name. Got a response saying he was not accepting PMs or he did not have PM privileges. Sent him a couple after the ban was removed from under his name and they went through but I got no response.
