Theres the Alpine group buy sticky, if your car is pre 03/2009 its about £550 which isnt too bad. If its post 03/2009 like mine then the price jumps to £720ish. At that price its not worth it imo.
You could just buy a set of tweeters and corner mouldings and fit them. Plenty of threads on the subject you can check out. |

Such a shame the Alpine stuff has got so expensive.....making it too expensive to justify to most now. I can't believe I paid just £270 for my kit back along. Is this a case of BMW seeing the demand and simply loading the retail price?

I may of misread the posts but I thought you couldn't upgrade to the alpine option if you have the professional setup ? I thought that's what Anneka wrote on her post ?

There us the Professional head unit which is different to hifi professional.
If you have a non base audio (if you have tweeters next to wing mirrors) then the Alpine upgrade is pointless. |

You get a new amplifier in the boot, new tweeters and replacement door speakers. The sound is much better but not as good as my VW Touran :-(
