Price increase

The base msrp just went up by $500.. website is not updated yet.. hate it when companies randomly increase cost.. its barely been few months since launch.

The $500 increase for the X1 is effective for production starting March 1.

(for most other BMW models, it kicked in on January 1)

Happens all the time, other manufacturers as well. I've dodged it several times over the last 12 years or thereabouts, but got stuck with an increase here & there. Besides...$500...not exactly material...IMO

Tesla raised prices over $10k within a year. Even with their current reduced prices, their vehicles are still priced higher than a couple of years ago.

My stepfather recently just took delivery of a Tesla Model Y, and I have to say, their customer service is shit. He won't say it either, but I think he's a little disappointed in the car as well. The fit and finish of some of the parts leaves a lot to be desired, I think for the price he was expecting something that felt more luxurious.

I’m not even sure, all I know is he ordered it around the same time I ordered the X1, mid-September? His delivery date kept getting pushed back from November until just before the new year. I’ll ask him when they get back from their trip lol. On another note, I pick up my X1 in 7 hours!

in that case, he paid the price at that time... not the $12000-off that went into effect last week....

which means you probably shouldn't be the bearer of bad news... let him find out by himself(unless he already know)
