Safety recall - Seat Belt

As others - was trying to get airbag campaign applied but seems Canadian dealers are slow with parts, so no availability as yet.
Bad fact is - the dealer is saying that there is another recall for 2023 X1 - Seat Belt campaign. They promised to inform details as soon as they know more details, campaign is baking at the moment. Anybody knows anything?

We had our driver air bag replaced as per the recall by our dealer this past Friday and it only took an hour.
Also advised us of the rear seat belts recall that was issued which will replace the rear seat belts. Will call us when the replacements arrive, only my guess it will be several weeks.

Thanks for the info guys! As for seat belts, dealer was also saying to me they will need the car for whole day when parts arrive. So seems not a hour job as for driver airbag.

Our car is on the way across the Atlantic now, and should arrive by 3rd week of April in southern California. Does anyone know if they will place a stop sale on it until the seatbelt issue is fixed (and assuming that could take a month)? Our dealer said they know of no hold up, but I'm skeptical. Also, selling our old car and if there is a hold up, we will be down to one car for two of us (not the end of the world, but very inconvenient if more than a week or two).

Same here! I believe we are both on the Phoenix Leader, right? I called my dealer as well and they also said they aren't aware of any stop sales as of now... but I'm wondering if they're just saying that until the vehicle actually arrives at the VPC? I'm not very optimistic about all this. Let me know if you receive and updates from your dealer and I'll be sure to share new knowledge as well.

Yes, I agree with you. I think they just won't say anything until it arrives. But maybe, just maybe, they fixed the seat belt issue before the Phoenix Leader left Emden?

Possible, but again, not very optimistic. It seems that most people who have been notified about the stop sale were a few weeks ahead of us though... so fingers crossed our cars weren't part of that batch!
