Little scratches on the grey trim
I have small scratches on the aluminum trim (not sure the material) but wanted to know if anyone can tell me how I can fix it. I try mother aluminum polish and scratchX but didn't work. I am hoping this is a easy fix.

Step one...put away the microscope. JK. Not exactly sure what this is but if it is a metal coated plastic it might not be too thick, so caution is necessary. It also might have a plastic coating on top of the metal so that is why the aluminum polish isn't going to work. Did you use the scratchX by hand or with a polisher? It might require a polisher and something more abrasive. I am sure our polishing experts will chime in soon.

Leave it alone. You'll remove the anodizing on the aluminum if you get aggressive. It's a car after all. By next year you'll see a lot bigger cosmetic problems.
