I was just watching a recent video (involving an M series model), which showed how to change the "wake word" from "Hello BMW" to a particular name. Just tried to do that on my 2025 X1 28i but couldn't match the instructions. Also nothing showing on that in the owners manual that I can see. Is that a feature that is only available on the fancier, pricier models? Or is this part of that Digital Premium package BMW wants me to pay for? Or am I missing something and can I do it with what I have?

My car's name is "Sondra" and she would very much prefer me to address her by name rather than generically. Any assistance appreciated. Thanks.

Can you not just press the microphone button wake the system instead of actually saying hello BMW?

Yes you can do that in lieu of saying a wake word
