Just installed iDrive 9 update 03/2025.47 in my iX1. I guess its an improved version of 03/2025.30

It enables Efficient mode to be set as default and seems a bit snappier.

Not sure if its related, but after also updating MyBMW app the trunk can be remotely opened and Alarm can be set in reduced mode (locked, but without interior sensors). Both require Digital Key Plus.

I am on 11/2024.67 and this also allows Efficient mode to be set as the default.

No sign of 03/2025.anyversion for me so far.

I was on 11/2024.67 , now on 03/2025.30 and efficient cannot be set as default.
Still no 03/2025.47 but I wish for Efficient to be on by default and the damn auto-hold to remember that it's on!

I got it by manually searching for a software upgrade in System/Software Upgrade.

Nope. During 2024 US typically got the OTA updates several months after Europe got it. Some said Dealers got it sooner & manually load it when going other services.

I’d suspect this OTA update will arrive about Late May or sometime during June.

Installed update 03/2025.47 and noticed no difference in anything.

Not even sure what it was for but I guess the "improved bug fixes" statement may just that.

Got this yesterday in Canada (Ontario) on my '24 28i. Update was smooth..no noticable differences so far.

Same here, nothing showing

All updated in the UK - had to do a couple of soft resets but otherwise everything working well. Radio displaying tracks info better with this update
