wrap the black part of the lower side skirt to match, does it look better or worse?

for X1 M Sport in light colors such as the white one below. for darker colors such as dark blue or black, there's probably no need

In my opinion it makes the sill too “slabby” I prefer the lift that the black gives, albeit it is design trickery

+1 it (the actual white wrap) may look better in 3D but the MS paint style fill in isnt doing it

I prefer the black as it does blend better with the other dark spots. If you go white you will probably be looking at white in other locations ---- slippery slope they say!
