bay area members, please help!!!

I just buy a valentine one, and I can't understand the hardwire diy. Can anyone help me out please? Thanks.

As I recall, you will need to tap one wire to an ACC line (12V wire that draws power only when car is on) and ground the other. What problem are you experiencing?

If you are searching for a +wire to tap, try the splicing the one routed to the cigarette lighter.

thx, guys, i did it!!!. not me, but my friend help me did it. my car only have one green and white wire, but diy page stated there are 2, giving me little problem there. then the clip for the green and white wire was too big, can't cut through, so we use another "T"splitte solution. then the screw for ground, it's different on my car. that screw ain't ground, so i find another spot, drill it, and add another screw, almost drill through the roof top

but everything are cool now.
