how to get a raspy sound?
I love the sound of the e46 m3.
I`m searching for a setuo thats really close to it. Thought of bmw performance exhaust + headers?

I dont have a 128i but my 135i with performance exhaust is extra raspy especially when cold...
My car didnt want to stay running for some reason but heres a youtube video for you... |

It only sounds raspy when it is cold. The rasp goes away with heat. It also goes away as the exhaust breaks in. However, it does turn into something beautiful.

I decided to pick up the ICarbon exhaust, the videos made it sound preatty damn incredible, but not raspy... which is what I personally like. My performacne exhaust doesnt seem to sound as good as when I got it, but it could all be all in y head.
