I want to be able to type in any song like the pirate I was using and it downloads straight to my desktop

I use maybe the most stupid method:

- Real Player downloader.
- Find good quality song in Youtube
- Download them and convert them with the Real Player Converter or the Adone Media Encoder.

Not the best method but works.

1007 is already out. they have update on their FB page, btw. I will warn you though, it now requires a login/password.

I used to use the pirate program too but found I was getting less and less results to the point it didn't even work anymore.

I started to just google the song and DL it anywhere, we'll that was a bad idea as my laptop started to take a dump and I needed to reformat it.

Wish there was a replacement for lime wire!
