That sounds nice! I keep wondering if Utah Orange would be too “in your face” for me. But definitely would be able to pick it out in a crowded parking lot! Blue Bay Lagoon, San Remo Green, Utah Orange…eenie, meenie, minee, AAARRRGGGHHH!

my family is more boring and all the cars/SUVs that we had since 1998 were all silver.... so we ended up choosing Space Silver Metallic... for BOTH of the X1 SUVs that we just ordered a few weeks ago. nobody that I'm related to are twins(even extremely distant relatives)... so it'll be nice to finally have "twins" in the family, even if they are both going to be born in Bavaria and have 4 wheels each.

Utah Orange is definitely lighter than Sunset Orange, but I love the color. But there are soooo many good colors to choose from on the new X1, it can be a really difficult choice.

That's nice. I don't ever remember seeing a red X1? I know they used to offer Sunset Orange. Melbourne Red would be a great choice to this X1....or maybe they will offer it on the X2?

Can confirm Utah Orange is lighter than Sunset. I have Sunset on my car, and it has a much more reddish tint than Utah Orange, which to me is more of a true, real orange.

I really wish Utah orange and san remo green were available with msport. I would've likely gone with Utah orange, orange in general is one of my favorite colors -- as long as it's the right orange.

Yeah, to me it's kinda weird the orange isn't available on the MSport, if only because I kinda assume orange as a more sporty color. I was looking at the 4 series convertible recently, and it's the same. Orange is only available on the non-MSport models.

Oh that's odd. Because you definitely used to be able to get Sunset Orange in M-Sport on the 3-Series, I think as recently as the '22 MY.

Yeah, I think it changed for 2023 MY. They actually removed the color entirely from the 3 series lineup, and it's on the 4 series but only on the non MSport models. Not offered on the M performance models at all either.

I love the Utah Orange, but with the Shadowline trim on the M Sport, I would just be thinking about Halloween all the time.

For anyone with a Blue Bay Lagoon X1 or anyone that has seen it in person. Which pictures/videos of it are the most accurate? Does it ever appear as teal? I prefer the pictures where it does not look teal. Hoping one passes through a Toronto area dealer so I can see it in person.

I ordered Blue Bay Lagoon with Oyster interior. It was recently dispatched from the factory. I hope the color is almost exactly like in the photo. I’ll share the actual photo when I receive it.

As it is, I'm now the proud owner of a Storm Bay with Black Sensatec. It's also gorgeous, and I get compliments on the color, but I still think about that San Remo Green with the light interior... |
