How do you guys feel about storm bay with oyster interior? have you seen anything similar?

Not sure if you read the 2ND PART of my question? Also it's always HELPFUL to get insights from people who saw something similar. This is the PURPOSE of the forum btw

it looks good as the oyster is light and they have now started using hexcube light now so they compliment each other, i couldnt live with a light interior as we have horses and generally some of that muck and dust gets in the car so i played safe and went dark

I test drove an X1 in storm bay with oyster interior. The combo surpassingly worked. However, IMHO, storm bay on X-line trim does not look anywhere near as nice as it does on the M Sport trim.

The oyster interior looked really nice! Especially with the piano black trim…but…piano black for me is a definite no go. Too many finger prints and gives off a cheaper overall feel.

One last thing: you could already see a lot of dirt built up on the oyster seats.

The only model I got to sit in before ordering my X1 was a Cape York Green with Oyster interior. I liked the Oyster a lot more than I thought I would. Saw a video of a Blue Bay Lagoon with Oyster (which sold me on the color!) and it looked really nice, but ended up ordering Black for mine. Seemed more practical with kids/hauling plants/etc. and I read somewhere about possible clothing color transfer being a lot more obvious with the Oyster.

yeah I saw it, but color preferences are always a personal subjective choice. just because I saw someone got a color combo doesn't mean any other particular person would like it. my car is Utah Orange, because I like it. and I acknowledge others may never consider it.

you want "insights"? i can see that for "Hey is Oyster too light? Does it show dirt/stains too easy?" Ok. But "Will I like this color combo long term?", which is essentially your question. Whatever...

Thanks to everyone who answered, I initially went for the cloth m sport but now thinking about it again I think leather would be more practical So now got to choose between Oyster and Black, thanks for being helpful.

I wanted oyster but with a kid and two big dogs I was really concerned about keeping it clean, so I went with Mocha.

Finally my X1 arrived today. Ordered on 4.1.2023, received on 7.18.2023.
I’m happy with my Blue Bay Lagoon. Color is as expected, darker Teal but photos show a lot lighter.

Congrats! Blue Bay Lagoon is one of the nicest colors on the X1! If I had to choose again, I probably would have gone with Blue Bay Lagon instead of Space Silver.

My missus is lovin the Blue Lagoon....added some black 728M wheels - I wanted to go machine finish, she wanted black so she won. Perfect for flush fitment due to offsets. Blue Lagoon is certainly getting a lot of positive comments in parking lots and such like. It also seems to change color in different lighting conditions.
