Sigma 10-20mm or tokina 12-24
Well I have my 18-200vr on the way. And I decided I want a wide lens! It has come down to these two. I am leaning more towards the Sigma because of the extra 2mm. I am gong to pull the trigger prob this weekend on one, since I will be in NYC for a week the 1st week of aug and want to get some wide angle goodness in while there.

I loved my Tokina 12-24mm f/4. Beautiful colors and very sharp. It's a bargain for the prices they can be found for, as well. I picked mine up off craigslist for $300. I've always been extremely impressed with Tokina build quality. They seem well-constructed and very solid.
My only complaint with the Tokina was the lens flare when shooting into the sun. Otherwise, I loved it. |

+1 for Tokina 11-16 for Cropped frame sensor. It was a superb ultra-wide angle lens, but the zoom range is very small, Although I only use it on 11mm...It's more for lowlight
Tokina 12-24 is also great, and is more useful. Also great money for the zoom range.

my vote goes to the Tokina. It's arguably the best 3rd-party super-wide-angle lens you can buy.

+1 on the tokina 11-16...can't go wrong with the price and speed. I just sold mine, since I barely used it but it's an awesome lens for the money
