Hope this helps inspire someone!
Just wanted to share this and hope it will inspire someone else like I was once inspired by my good friend after seeing his progress picture. This is just proof that hard work and determination really does pay off. I weighed 260 lbs. (the heaviest I've ever been in my life) back during the beginning of this year. I was very unhappy with myself and the way I let myself get to that point. I set a New Year's Resolution to make a change. I'm now currently 195 lbs. and still going strong. This is a reminder to me to stay motivated and keep my inspiration, and to never again go back to that lifestyle. I'd also like to thank all of my family and friends that supported me and helped me out along the way. Couldn't have done it without them.
If I can just help one person with my story and progress, I'd be happy. If I could do it, then I firmly believe anyone else can too. Set a goal, make a plan, and stick to it! Thanks for reading. |

Great job man! It takes dedication to lose weight.
And 260 lbs down to 195 lbs... I applaude you! As yourself, I was at my highest January this year, but my progress was not as impressive as yours, but I did drop ~20 lbs. The plan is to drop more, and get in better shape, so I am starting running classes. If I work on what I eat, that could help too, but I like to eat.

Well done sir, I have also been fighting with a weight problem since childhood (i guess genetics?). My body weight fluctuates about 20lbs a year and after i stopped trying to be an amatuer bodybuilder it all went downhill. Now I'm about 6' and 220lbs. Hearing your success story is just the kind of motivation people like me need to try to reach that goal. Keep it up.
