Question As Above... So Below!

Ya know, I'm pretty fed up with and never been a fan of "found footage". I appreciate the original concept but they are milking it to the extreme. In fact I won't even bother watching on the big screen because it is almost nauseating with all the screen shaking.
I will say that I like the premise of this film alot and hope it will be genuinely scary.

The title makes perfect sense actually. And the catacombs in France are a huge tourist attraction. So I am all for the concept of the film. Now whether or not they execute it well is yet to be seen?

The title refers to the characters who like us, have their own stories, skeletons, secrets, etc. Thus 'As Above'. Once they descend into the catacombs and the horror starts to unfold, from what I can see in the trailer, they all start to experience circumstances from their own life: 'As Below'.

Have you ever seen the show NetherWorld?
It's with this host named Zac Bagans. Anyway there was an episode where he went in to the Paris Catacombs....it was pretty cool.

Apparently there was a guy who got lost down there and he was recording his last moments to where he dropped his video camera and kept running

If they do this one right, it could be pretty freaky.

Movie looks stupid. IMO, any movie that starts advertising just a few weeks before its release date is usually not worth seeing, usually.

I'm tired of these found footage horror movies. Most of them are crap and spawn crappy sequels.

Good movie honestly I really liked it, but the shakey cam made me puke up some chicken wings I ate before the movie. After that I felt better lol.

Shakey cam bugs me but this one REALLY bugged me.

That is unfortunate. But I planned to see it at home anyway. But talk about the plot and scares? Entertaining?

I enjoyed it. Felt creepy like horror used to. Not jump scares and gore like everything is these days.
