Thinkin of Spending Sunday in DC
does anyone live in DC or Baltimore Maryland think its a good idea to go there this sunday with my GF to site see and get lunch and dinner. We're from Philadelphia and i havent been there in 15 yrs and she's never. And i was thinkin if its a good idea. Are things closed on sunday. Top places to visit, eat at and possibly stay at over night for sat. Any info will help thanks.
PS if not is there anything to do in Maryland, Nj besides AC and NYC is a weekend thing. Im thinking of stayin over night where ever we go sat to sun. She doesnt get outta work till 9 so we wouldnt get down there till like 12am so idk.... depends on where and what. Thanks Last edited by 335i4u2nv; 11-14-2007 at 02:08 PM.. |

If you post this over in Mid-Atlantic, you'll probably get a lot of responses. But here's a short one:
Yes pretty much everything is open on Sundays in DC. Museums, restaurants, landmarks, shopping. Depends on what you want to do.

There is shopping/restaurants around there. Like Ettil said, DC is open and there are many places to spend the day. Cross the bridge into VA and you are in Alexandria. Lots of things to do.
