reporting posts

I had been reporting posts that should be merged with another thread, or should be moved to another forum etc, but I just noticed the disclaimer below the report option that said to only report spam/harassment/problematic posts. Have I been doing the wrong thing?

No, keep one reporting posts. The MOD's will decide what to do. Its just a way that gives us all feed back on a thread we might not know about. Some people also use the "report" button to delete their own thread(bc they haven't figured out how to delete it themselves).
