Love gambling of all kinds. Favorite is skill oriented ones like golf where it really tests your mental strength when big money is on the line. Love poker too especially on a long cruise ship vacation. You play with the same dudes from all over the world for 7 or more days and really get to know each other and shoot the shit. I don't gamble to win money or anything, just purely for entertainment value. Getting hammered helps too.
I'll take a bet on almost about anything. Wanna bet? |

Last time I was in Vegas, $5 bought me lunch at the Bellagio (video poker right by the line). My GF then paid for dinner at the Wynn before La Reve with nickel slots. We both know how to quit when we're up.

i won $900 off penny slots in vegas one time and promptly wasted it all on strippers.
at some of the small casinos in AZ ive gotten away with as much as $1700 at blackjack before pussing out and cashing out. Overall I think im up a few grand vs casinos and down a few grand vs the strippers. |

Bahamas back in high school, my buddy (aptly dubbed "Ross Vegas") was down 3k. Not sure how he had that kind of play around money in high school. Anyway, 8 hours later he broke even and walked. Went back shortly after.

Crazy gambling story?
Was in Downtown Vegas (yes... that place) and I put $5 in to a nickel slot. I ended up winning over $50. My wife told me to walk away, but I kept playing for about 5 to 10 minutes. Next, I was in Vegas. A guy I was with came up over $2000 in about 4 minutes on a $100 buy in on the blackjack table. He gave the four of us with him $100 because he believed we were part of his good luck at that moment. I put my $100 into a dollar machine and lost it all. My wife saved hers. It's very, very hard for me to gamble. Even if I play roulette, I sit there thinking "this is an In-N-Out cheeseburger meal that I just put on black." "This is a french fry that I just lost." OCD itemization costs kill me. |
