I guess in theory the only people not having kids are people that spend the time to properly prepare and think about those kinds of things. The poor population will continue to explode regardless of cost while the middle class and upper middle class will reproduce less due to the potential consequences. The rich will go unchanged but that's a very small percentage of the population. Over all will it continue to widen the gap between rich and poor?
My wife and I said if we made more money we would have had 4/ 5 kids......but you know, with 3 nannies....and a 458

I went to private daycare as a kid, for six years straight.

I still can't watch or be at the same table with some foods and I have serious issues with certain kind of women and men. The funny thing is that my grandma was a daycare provider and I deeply respect the people who go to that field.

When I got pregnant, it was a total surprise. A month earlier a doctor had told me there was like a snowballs chance in hell I'd be able to conceive without a medical intervention. My husband and I had a long talk about daycare and parenting that night and I told him I'm more than willing to support the family, but no way will my kids be looked after by anyone else but him or me.

I am sure nobody has as lovely experiences with daycare as I have had, but I wish you listen to the child. Sometimes it's just a simple case of separation anxiety, actually it usually is and then you can help the child with your own actions. In my case it sure as fuck wasn't that and now we lose a lot of money since I refuse to have a real job.

Oh, mine cost more than my mom made in a month. That was a nice one I'd say...

I completely understand your rant. I was paying 3k for my two kids (toddler and infant) here in San Francisco. After 1 year my wife and I decided that she could just stay home with the kids. It made more sense financially and emotionally for our family. Best decision we've made. Yes, you have to tighten your belt a bit when it comes to expenses but the reward is so worth it. Depends on you personal situation but if you can (financially) support your family with one income id say go for it.

I wonder how many parents could pick their children up at 4, but wait until 5 just so they can have some alone time but are just too afraid to say something because people will perceive it as being a bad parent.

My favorite is when this woman says that she puts her husband first. Everyone immediately jumped to the conclusion that she doesn't love her children.

My wife and I bought things with 2 income... No stay at home, she wouldn't be able to handle it, like me she is selfish and needs mental sanity. And she went to college for 8 years... Bitch better be working, what I mean (there will be a gap in work history that would be frowned upon in her industry)
