My experience with the F30 is that the chassis dynamics and "handling" are still there. It corners like a BMW more or less and it stays planted at speed. But you don't "feel" it as much because the cabin is more insulated and the steering although probably more precise than the e90 doesn't transmit anything through the wheel.
I drove a 2013 F30 M-Spsort X Drive and it was almost video game light in the feel, even in Sport and Sport+ modes. The 2013 X3 seemed to have better feedback interestingly. The 2016 320i Xdrive F30 steering stiffens substantially in sport mode, but it doesn't really transmit any more "feels". Do the RWD M-Sport cars (with the real sport suspension) have better "feels"?
