Top 10 reasons NOT to buy an E90!!!

My buddy started this, wondering what we could put in for #6!!!

TOP 10 REASONS NOT TO GET THE NEW BMW 3-SERIES:

# 10: Front wheel drive torque steer is kinda fun!

# 9: Not enough trunk space for golf clubs and mother-in-law.

# 8: Chris Bangle (even though the 3-series is really cool, we still don’t like him)

# 7: BMW loyalists have actually created dozens of websites devoted to firing Chris Bangle – get a life!

# 6:

# 5: The roof of your apartment leaks and baby needs more formula.

# 4: Affiliation to a clan of bloggers who unnecessarily refer to their mass produced transportation as “E90”

# 3: Too difficult to pronounce “einspritz”

# 2: Can you say, “Honda Civic Nation?”

# 1: Need to move to Canada to get “lemon” leather.

I fold my manual and stuffed it in there. Isnt it ridiculous how the glove compartment would actually fit only a pair of gloves???

How often do we really need the manual?

The glove box is perfect for two things:

1. Registration

2. Insurance Card

I think I will need those more than the manual.

Hmmm...#6 Because Acura, Infiniti, Mercedes-Benz, Lexus, Audi, Volvo and Saab has more letters than 'BMW'... we prefer more of everything including letters on the darn name plates....

who needs an owner's manual book,
when Owners Manual comes in .pdf file
that can be put in a CD,
so it can view it from the iDrive screen.
sorry non-iDrive E90 owners
better luck next time!

Let's hope the thing you have to look up doesn't have to do with use of the iDrive screen. I keep the manual in the glove box. The multiple other minimanuals I keep in the attractive leatherlike case...which I keep at home...and yes, I keep a pdf version of the manual on my PDA, but it's murder to read. Given the small amount of storage space in the "cabin", I have begun to adopt a minimalist approach to "stuff" in general...and this makes my interior look cleaner.

I suppose I could keep the manual in the spare-tire well, since I don't use that too often.

Mine is in the trunk as well. Given the number of times I have used it, it will soon be in my desk in my home office.

Haven't tried the manual on the CD idea. What format is viewable on the IDrive screen (PDF, Word, ASCII) ?
