Good deal on an Xti!

Mods, please delete if this isn't appropriate, but I thought I'd give ppl a heads up on a good deal for the Xti right now (am not affiliated w/Dell).

Dell has it for $319 shipped for the body or $419 for body + 18-55 lens. http://configure.us.dell.com/dellsto...471&lid=566643
If you open a Dell credit account, you can save about $10 more.

How often do they run these deals? I thought someone recently posted dell having a great, temporary deal on the XTi.....sometime within the last week or two. I'm gonna have to start monitoring their site!

The last deal was around 3 wks ago. Check out slickdeals.net daily..they're usu. pretty fast w/posting up the deal so you don't miss out.

D'oh! Dell had the XTi plus kit lens for $479. I had it up on my PC, my project manager stopped by and held a meeting at my desk for about an hour, and when he left the price adjusted back to $699.

<sigh> Oh well.
