A survey conducted some odd years ago defined the subjective definition of "old" - in fact, the typical bloke believes that their age +15 years is considered "old".
If you ask a 10 year old kid at what age he thinks is considered "old", he'll say 25+. If you ask a 50 year old man at what age he thinks is considered "old", he'll say 65+. If you ask an 85+ year old man at what age he thinks is considered "old", he'll say I'm old, you ass!

I honestly never considered buying my 325 without it having a MT. The only way to go...IMHO. The funny thing is most of my co-workers are surprised at this. They'd want the Steptronic (and a 5 series) - and they're 15-20 years younger than me.

I've seen all kinds of people driving E90's, where I live mostly individuals in their mid to late thirties/early forties. I think it all comes down to personal preference and the factor of affordability.
I was in Malibu cruising back from Zuma two days ago when I saw a Blk/Blk E90, debadged, dumped on what looked to be Breyton Multi-cross spoke rims. Sick car, and it was a young Asian guy driving it, what a pimp!!! |

in my opinion bmw is for younger people, and mercedes is for older people, or that's just how it seems in australia.

I was 55 last week. I got a Harley Davidson for my mid life crisis (39 years old) The BMW is my old age crisis (55 years old). I like to have FUN.
