I'm not sure I understand what you're asking. Are you asking for conjecture as to whether there are more male E90 drivers than female or for the gender of the voters or something else altogether?

On a message board, your going to find mostly males...
On the road, closer to 50/50. Around where I live, 60% of the BMW drivers in all are female. Most are X5's and non sport 5 and 3's. Sport 3's, sport 5's, and 650/645's are males. Ive never seen a female M driver around here... |

This is another unclear poll. I voted my gender, male, but I'm thinking he's asking on the road.
On the road, I see mostly females in 25's than 30's The 30's that I see are usually parked.

I would bet that among those people who have paid for their car by themself, with no help from anyone else (not even a trade-in), you will find more males than females driving E90s. Among those people whose parents or significant other have purchased their car or helped them purchase their car in some way, you will find more females than males. Thus, in a college setting you will probably find more females driving E90s. Although guys with rich parents that age would love a car like the E90, just as many would prefer a big ass truck or a hopped up Mustang, Camaro, GTO, etc. A four door sedan isn't exactly the ideal car for many college age guys. Kind of for similar reasons, many women who can afford a nice car like the E90 have other priorities for their money like clothes, nice furniture, jewelry, shoes, etc.

chick bimmer driver here, and I know quite a few females w/ 325's, however its quite true that u won't see many chicks on car forums. Unfortunately very few of us are motorheads. Its a bummer-snap-reALITY CHECK, really though, how many females have you seen in your lifetime fix their own flat tire? Its a shame
ps.....I bought it, not mommy, not hubby. People who's parents buy them a car of this stature should be...... Last edited by dreemcache; 04-26-2006 at 02:54 PM.. Reason: just cause |
