If you’re really dead set on buying I would 100% go with CPO but I wouldnt keep it much longer out of warranty once it’s up. IMO, either car is a bad decision.

If they are identical as you say, why would it be so difficult to select the one with fewer miles? You have two years unlimited mile warranty on a Porsche CPO but still I’d take lower miles.

![]() I get fixing cars is a labor of love, but on the toy or weekend car. I want my family cruiser to be reliable and problem free because if the wife breaks down, guess who’s coming to get her ass lol.

Totally understandable man! Life is too short for boring cars however and my wife agrees and has always been willing to risk breakdowns to have high output great sounding comfortable vehicles. Guess I'm lucky.

I agree, the advice was unsolicited. But I’ve taken the L on buying used cars and it sucks. Trying to save you some heartache and $$
Anyway, didn’t mean to offend bud. GL with the car

I guess I’m just a little skewed on the subject because of my past experiences

I just bought 958 with high miles. I liked it, price was good, car is in like new condition. I figured high miles equals highway driven, and I would rather get something with 80k driven on hway then 40k in traffic. Buddy of mine had Cayenne with 140k miles and no issues, everything worked till he totaled it
Keeping my fingers crossed..... Ps. As far as sunroofs, they have manual emergency close in case electronics fail. And oils change are $100 bucks, not $300-400 ![]() Last edited by Kolyan2k; 08-03-2019 at 11:28 PM.. |

Not sure how much you are paying for 80K miles 958 GTS but in 2 years once the truck has over 100K and CPO is gone, how much would you expect it to get?

My plan is to hopefully keep it for a while. Lexus sedan was my other choice, but that was $20k more for same year and same MSRP car, just less miles. Most likely Porsche will depreciate less then that Lexus.

Figured I'd update.
Picked up the CPO cayenne back in July and have put nearly 20k miles on it since. Not a single peep out of it. Great truck.
