A Very Detailed Perspective of Dubai in 4k
I've watched many videos and documentaries on Dubai. This is as detailed and high quality of a video as I've seen. We plan to visit once the pandemic subsides.
If you can view on your big screen or a really nice computer monitor is recommended.

I lived there for a couple of years back in 1980 in Jumeria. Other than the clock tower and the main mosque, it is amazing how much it has changed. I was 10 at the time, the most fun I had was jumping in our defender and jumping sand dune in the desert.

Been there. Most of it felt like Vegas without the sleaze. The desert was amazing. Old Town was interesting.
Would probably never go back u less passing through for a connecting flight.

Same reason people would visit New York or Los Angeles.

I’ve been there and, not putting too fine a point in it, it’s fucking hot. End of story! It was 48 C at 7 in the morning!
In fact it came up on my Facebook memory today, 4 years ago we were there for a few days after eight weeks travelling through Europe. Did Ferrari world and drove an Aston Martin around Yas Marina, both of which are down the road at Abu Dhabi. My Wife hated as she was invisible to everyone. Did I mention it was hot? |

It's in the Middle East in the Desert. I expect it to be hot. I also don't expect to be hanging outside. I've walked around Vegas in 115 degrees dry heat. It actually was not nearly as bad as 100 degree humid heat here in Texas.

I think it would be cool to visit under a couple conditions. 1) I had already visited many other international destinations 2) I had enough money to visit Dubai like it was intended to be visited 5-Star everything 3) #2 would make number 1 much easier on the list. |

Perhaps if we electrify everything and use renewable energy, a city like Dubai would still be a desert.
Maybe in few hundred years when the precious dinosaur juice runs out. |

I’ve got a thumb drive somewhere with video as well. When I first got in it was a bit ordinary, hadn’t driven for two months, steering wheel was on the wrong side, it was about 50 degrees and 90% humidity. After a couple laps though it was a blast! |

I'm always struck by how most any touristy places I see there is the regional language on things and English.
and the guy in the video, his accent. I can't place it at all. |
