Arrgh cracked the windshield on my Honda Fit!

Was driving and the car in front threw up a rock and put a nice little star in the windshield. Being a dope, I sort of um.... bopped the windshield with my fist because I was annoyed. Now I have an 8 inch crack across the windshield. PWND for being an idiot. $-330

Insurance said no go, have to pay $500 deductible. Diamond auto glass will be fixing it, $275. not too bad i guess.

I wish NJ was like some other states where insurance companies are obligated to replace your glass without deductibles!

That's crazy how come the cost of teh glass is almost as much as the car itself and it makes no sense that the deductible is more than the car is worth...

Haha that sucks! I've had 3 windshields replaced for free by my insurrance within the last 8 months.
