Ceramic coating rims

For anyone considering ceramic coating their rims it makes the a lot easier to rinse off the brake dust before washing. This is just pre rinsing off and 90% gone with a small pressure washer. Just thought I would share since there wheels are not the easiest to clean

I had my detailer do the entire alloy inside and out. Should be easier to clean.

Agree! Got the whole car and wheels c-coated, and cleaning the wheels is a breeze! I don't use wheel cleaner, just pressure rinse, spray them with my foam cannon, and pressure rinse again and voila!

yes I did it myself with xzilon. As the other person replies just foam cannon and lightly clean them, no need for acid or rim cleaner.

I would recommend getechiq C5, as this is specifically designed for alloy wheels to deal with the hot brake dust and will last alot longer.

Did my wheels last night as I've done all my cars. Makes cleaning them so much easier. It's worth removing the wheels and doing the calipers at the same time.

Used PS legend.
