Entire blending industry is a gimmick. WHo is blending bricks or concrete blocks? Fuck 90pc of people blend fruit and milk together.

They're the same as the Bro-dozer truck ads where the truck can tow a small african nation and is sold to guys who may do home depot run for a box of nails once a month.

Vitamix is a buy for life item.

I agree with Alfisti in general. The good thing about the Vitamix is I can make hot soup (brocolli and cheddar, etc) right in the machine. Works for everything.

My wife uses one. Since it's cordless & portable, it's great when you need to blend up a protein drink when out & about or only need to blend up a small amount of whatever. Only quirks with it is that it needs to be charge after every so use and cleaning can be a chore.

Prefer ninja - don't want my smoothies pulverized by a just a high powered lower blade. The ninja is far less powerful but has a vertical blade system that is more effective.

Had a vitamix, sold it after a couple uses.

I like that its cordless and portable. I dont really know why I would need that but I like the idea.
