Yes, it's the same as the Leg c'ept for red leather, better wheels, tires, and a firmer suspension. And of course, manual with Nav!
I don't believe they made that many of them. (500?)

The Sti, like the WRX, has no insulation to speak of, the seats are not comfy over a long er haul and the engine has no low end anything, resulting in the compulsion to have car over 3,500 rpms at all times, which can be annoying.
The suspension is harsh, but of course the car corners well and once yo do rev it it flies. I would bconsider it as my first car for racing/rallies, but not an everyday car. |

It's a great car; just needs some work on the interior quality, and I don't get why Subaru only offers a 6spd in the STI, all other manuals are 5 spds. (I used to sell Subarus when the Spec. B came out) As for the STI, it's a great sports car... which is what it is. It's definetely not a daily driver. As others have said, it has no insulation and needs to be ran high. As for making it a rally car... you'd need to scrap the entire suspension system. The stock setup is actually designed for the Ring... not sliding sideways on gravel through the trees.
