I'm thinking about getting a 2024 X1M35i, and I see that if I'm in the UK, I can get any number of individual colors, including Imola II. My SA doesn't know the status of individual colors in N.A., and I'm eager to find out what options may exist. Anyone have any ideas?

There’s at least one guy on here who ordered an individual US car. It should possible.

My SA also offered me the option.

They're available in the US. I contemplated getting LBB to match my M2 but ended up just going with Portimao. I ultimately decided the extra cost ($2500 IIRC) and extra wait wasn't worth it to me.

Rocketman99 is correct, individual is available, and according to my dealer about 2 months more wait time. Imola would look great….and you are unlikely to see another and that’s cool in itself!!

We have an Individual color on order for an X1 M35i in the US. We were told as long as it came up in the visualizer (set to the correct country) it should be available, but some colors could take longer than others. It took a few emails and phone calls back and forth between me, our advisor and corporate to confirm we could get what we wanted. We went with Tanzanite Blue. Placed our order in late October on an allocation that was already scheduled for mid-November. The color change initially pushed it back to mid-December and it's now showing week 2 of 2024.

According to my sales rep, so take it for what it's worth, when it's a custom paint order the entire assembly paint line shuts down so they can set up the one-off painting. That results in the added time.

that color would look great on the x1! specially with black accents

you can input your request and if its approved it will be a added cost for the paint.

if you are having issues getting dialed in you can shoot my guy Jimmy Miller a quick email at jimmym@bmwofcamarillo.com just let him know what color, specs, and your county and he can dial you in.

oh man, I love that red. but I'm probably biased because I used to be a part-time volunteer firefighter when I was young. (although, strangely, my old fire dept had white ladder trucks with a big red stripe down the middle)

Cost is $3000 for individual paint on the X1. Have a Daytona Beach Blue in production now for store inventory

I ordered a m35i with individual paint, my car is headed up the west coast right now… Should get it in two wwwks. Added a month to production time and 3 grand. I ordered Utah Orange which is no longer available on the US Individual configurator. Will post picks.

Hi, Can you please let me know what were the steps with the dealer? I just placed my order for an X2 in Java Green with my dealer but they mentioned order does say frozen portimao on it currently and that is because they can’t add the individual color until it gets its scheduled production slot. I would really appreciate your guidance.

They must fill out a form to request the color, if approved, then you're set. They can do this as soon as they get an allocation (production #) and the vehicle is in status 111

LOL! I am in the fire service, but thought of this combo as I also have a 2002 MRoadster that is in Imola Red. The car is ordered, so thanks to all for the input!

Been able to order Individual colors in US since the m35i was introduced. I ordered Utah Orange in June and car arrived for Christmas. Seems like there were a lot of delays in the process, (Quality check for 4 weeks). Utah Orange is no longer available in Individual, although it's still available on the 28i in basic and sport trims. Almost went with Java green. I wen't round and round about it but kept coming back to Utah. 3 grand additional. I would do it again in a heart beat.

I love that color. It looks amazing. Photos don't do it justice. When viewed in person in bright sunlight, Utah Orange is just breathtaking.

I have the plain vanilla X1 with M Sport... so Utah Orange was never an option.. too bad.
