Hi all,
I couldn't find a good solution to tracking maintenance history and intervals, so I made one! This Google doc allows you to log your service history, set standard maintenance intervals, and decode your vin. Maybe this will be useful to someone else also, so I figured I'd share it here. Here is the link, don't forget to read the instructions to save your own copy! |

I'd like to understand your tracker better! I love it!
Hello, I also live in Austin and take my vehicle to Terry Sayther. I am trying to use your tracker and have some questions about it.
Like, for instance, I tried putting in my brake pad repairs into the log but I did the front and rear brake pads separately, one in September and one in January. And I don't understand how to separate them out. Help me, O Excel Wizard. I feel I have much to learn from you - I also want to create a house version of this and would pay you to help me. |

These are a combination of recommendations I have seen and practiced across a few different cars. They are pretty aggressive, so feel free to adjust as you see fit.

Nicely done!
I added a new type (Suspension) on the Intervals sheet, and while the Summary sheet did pick it up, it has a problem with it not having any regular intervals. Quick fix or something I should dive into myself? I'm not un-skilled with coding spreadsheets, but ... let's just say it's been a while ![]() |
