forgot to mention that there are also quite a few reports of the same iPhone/Carplay connection issue on the new 5-series G60 forum which I've been following. considering that the G60 just came out, I was very surprised to read about it. Sure hope BMW has it sorted by the time my 530i arrives.

15th time is the charm
So I refused to contact the dealer for this issue. Over the last few days I have done numerous soft and hard reboots with no change. However, I am pleased to report the 15th (may have been even more) hard reboot did it. I have connectivity, Bluetooth and wireless. Had to redo some settings. But all is well, for now.

also noticed that a bunch people have reported similar issues since iOS 17.2.1. All different car brands, including BMW, VW, and even Lamborghini(!!!). My money is on Apple being the one who dropped the apple on this one. https://discussions.apple.com/thread...47?sortBy=best Last edited by SpaceSilver.X1; 01-10-2024 at 06:54 PM.. |

Based on what they told me is needed to be replaced and what my service record shows, no they did not need a new amp to fix the issue but the issue is present and there was no amp installed.
